Blue Fire Media's Office View, Winter 2015

In this post we take a break from talking business to share our view of Pure Michigan from our office. This view is outside our window at 724 W Centre Ave, Portage MI. The water is Portage Creek.

Right now we have up to 50 mallard ducks that frequent the area. We also have a great blue heron who stays here year round. Two weeks ago we had a surprise visit from a bald eagle but we were unfortunately not able to get a good picture.

This next one is of a Northern Pintail duck. We don’t see many of these around here, especially in Michigan.

In this one, we also have another rare duck for us, a hooded merganser.
